Locum Pharmacy Technician (Band 5) – NHS Hospital, Buckinghamshire

Location: NHS Hospital, Buckinghamshire

Contract Length: Ongoing
Work Pattern: 3–5 days per week
Pay Rate: £15–£20 per hour (depending on experience)

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
You’ll be a vital part of the hospital pharmacy team, helping to keep services safe, smooth, and patient-focused:
Dispensing and checking prescriptions with precision
Carrying out ACT duties (final accuracy checking)
Managing stock levels and medicine supply
Supporting clinical pharmacy teams on the ground
Maintaining accurate records for patient safety
Communicating with ward staff to support effective medicine use
✔ What You’ll Need to Bring:
✅ GPhC registration
✅ ACT qualification – must-have
✅ Previous hospital or NHS experience
✅ Great teamwork and communication skills
✅ A proactive and independent approach
