Hunter AHP Resourcing is looking for a reliable and dedicated Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS hospital team in Newcastle!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the dispensing of medications in the hospital
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of prescriptions to patients and clinical teams
• Lead and manage a team of pharmacy assistants and junior technicians
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations
• Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure effective and safe medicine management
• Provide advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters

Requirements:

• Must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential
• Previous experience working in an NHS hospital or clinical environment
• Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
