Role Overview:

As a Locum Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide essential pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. You’ll work closely with the healthcare team to optimize medication management for patients and ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments.
• Collaborate with medical staff to formulate and adjust treatment plans.
• Provide expert advice on drug therapy, including dosage and interactions.
• Engage in patient counseling and education regarding medication use.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulations.
• Support the training and development of junior pharmacy staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Previous clinical pharmacy experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the service.
