Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist - Rotational Wards

Location: Birmingham, NHS Hospital

Employment Type: Full-time (5 days per week, Monday to Friday)

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)

Start Date: November 2023 (ASAP)

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months


We are working with a leading NHS Hospital in Birmingham who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a Band 7/8a rotational wards based position!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services across various wards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimise medication management.
  • Conduct medication reviews and monitor patient progress.
  • Educate healthcare staff and patients on medication therapies.
  • Participate in ward rounds and contribute to clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC registration.
  • Significant experience working in clinical pharmacy within a ward setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
