Locum Pharmacist required ASAP – South West London - No clearance needed!! (Band 7)

Location: South West London, Prison based
Position: Locum Pharmacist
Rates: £24 - £31 per hour (DE PAYE)
Band: 7
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (30 mins lunch), Monday to Friday, however part time may be considered
Start Date: January 2024 (2-3 months duration)
Reason for Vacancy: Permanent recruitment underway

Our NHS prison based client, located in South West London, is looking for a Locum Pharmacist to join their team from January 2025 for an initial 2-3 months, with the possibility of part-time work (3-4 days per week). The role is dispensary-based and will involve screening and checking work—perfect for someone with a background in community pharmacy.

No previous prison experience or prison clearance is required—this role is open to community pharmacists who can work in a secure setting and are willing to undergo the necessary checks!

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing medications and checking work
• Screening prescriptions for accuracy
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient service
• Suitable for a community pharmacist with experience in dispensing and checking

Requirements:

• Experience in community pharmacy is highly desirable
• No prison clearance or previous prison experience required
• Flexibility for part-time work (3-4 days per week)
