Locum Pharmacist (Band 6/7) – NHS Hospital in Birmingham

We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Locum Pharmacist to join our team at an NHS hospital in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Contract Details:

• Position: Band 6/7 Locum Pharmacist
• Duration: 3-6 month contract (with potential for extension)
• Working Hours: 5 days a week (flexible to 3-4 days a week)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hourly Rate: £23 - £30 per hour (depending on experience)

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care across surgical and medical wards
• Work in the dispensary to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimise medication management
• Ensure compliance with NHS standards and regulations
• Support clinical pharmacy services

Requirements:

• GPHC registration
• Previous hospital experience preferred (Band 6/7)
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organisational skills
