Job Advert: Pharmacy Stores Assistant – NHS Hospital (Essex)
Hourly Rate: £14 - £15 per hour
Location: NHS Hospital, Essex
Contract: Temporary via Hunter AHP

Hunter AHP are currently seeking a Pharmacy Stores Assistant to join a reputable NHS Hospital in Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical stock within the hospital.
• Ensure accurate and efficient stock management, including rotation and stocktaking.
• Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
• Prepare and deliver pharmaceutical products to designated areas of the hospital.
• Assist with ordering and inventory management, ensuring stock is well-organised and accessible.
• Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring all products are stored in compliance with regulations.
• Provide administrative support, including updating records and databases as needed.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a pharmacy stores or stock-related role is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage inventory effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
• A willingness to learn and support the pharmacy team.
