Position: Band 5 Pharmacy Technician – Medicines Management
Location: North London
Contract Type: Temporary (3-6 months)
Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £17 – £22 per hour

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicines Management team at an NHS hospital in North London. This is a temporary role offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic pharmacy environment, supporting the safe and effective use of medicines across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the medicines management process, including dispensing and verifying prescriptions
• Support with clinical ward-based activities, ensuring accurate medicine reviews
• Provide advice on medication usage to healthcare professionals
• Contribute to the development and implementation of medication management strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies

Essential Requirements:

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in a Medicines Management role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Additional Information:

• Competitive hourly rate: £17 – £22 per hour
• Full-time hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• Immediate start, with a contract duration of 3 to 6 months
