• Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Band 5/6 (ACT/MMT)
• Location: Sheffield (NHS Hospital)
• Duration: 3–6 month contract
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (30-minute break) – part-time (3–4 days) considered
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Rolling (3–6 months initially)
• Rate of Pay: £17ph-£25ph (dependent on band and experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician (ACT/MMT) and support the delivery of efficient and accurate pharmaceutical care in a dynamic NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will:
• carry out general dispensary duties including labelling, dispensing, and stock control
• perform accuracy checking duties as an ACT (Accredited Checking Technician)
• support medicines management tasks on wards (if MMT trained)
• work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and effective services
• maintain high standards of documentation and patient confidentiality
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• a current and valid GPhC registration
• ACT qualification and/or ward-based MMT experience
• previous NHS hospital experience (preferred)
• strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This full-time role requires availability Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm with a 30-minute break. Flexible working options are available – 3 or 4 days per week may be considered. The contract is for 3–6 months, with potential for extension based on service needs.
