Hunter AHP are recruiting for a Locum Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS hospital team in Surrey. This is an ASAP start role offering a competitive hourly rate of £15 to £20 per hour, based on experience. The position requires 5 days per week, covering 37.5 hours in total.

Position: Locum Pharmacy Technician
Location: NHS Hospital, Surrey
Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £15 to £20 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescriptions for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Assisting with the delivery of pharmacy services across various hospital departments.
• Managing stock control and ensuring the safe and effective supply of medications.
• Participating in clinical pharmacy duties, including drug therapy monitoring and patient counseling.
• Providing support to the pharmacy team and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with GPhC registration.
• Prior experience working within an NHS hospital setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
