Need support attracting top Dietetics talent?
What is a Dietitian?
A dietitian is an HCPC-registered healthcare professional who uses evidence-based nutritional science to assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional conditions. Unlike nutritionists, the title “dietitian” is legally protected in the UK – only those registered with the HCPC can use it.
Dietitians work across a huge range of clinical settings and patient groups, from managing complex enteral feeding in acute hospitals to supporting weight management in community clinics. Demand for experienced dietitians continues to grow across the NHS and private sector, making specialist recruitment support increasingly important for services that need reliable cover.
Why Services Choose Hunter Gatherer for Dietitian Staffing:
- AHP specialists – not generalists Dietetics is one of our core specialisms. Our consultants understand clinical caseloads, banding structures and the specific requirements of different dietetic settings – so we match properly, not just on paper.
- Fully vetted and HCPC-verified Every dietitian we place is checked for HCPC registration, DBS, clinical references and mandatory training before we put them forward. No exceptions.
- Locum and permanent solutions Urgent rota cover or a long-term hire – we support both. Our network of dietitians spans all bands and specialisms, giving you options whether you need someone next week or next quarter.
- Responsive and personal We’re not a job board. When you contact us, you speak to a consultant who knows the dietetics market and will work quickly to find the right fit for your service.
