Job Opportunity!! Band 7 Locum Pharmacist required in Central London – Rehab ward cover!

Location: Central London
Hospital: Large Acute NHS Hospital
Role: Locum Pharmacist (Band 7)
Start Date: January 2025
Duration: 3 months initially, with potential to extend

About the Role: A large acute NHS hospital in Central London is currently seeking a Band 7 Locum Pharmacist to join their team starting in January 2025. This role will involve working across three wards of the hospital, covering rehabilitation units without any dispensary duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmacy services across all 3 wards, working alongside another pharmacist.
  • Support rehabilitation wards and units, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • No dispensary work involved.
  • Med recs and drug histories

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30 mins lunch). 37.5 hours per week. 
  • Part-time work is unlikely to be considered.

Requirements:

  • Ward experience is essential.
  • Band 8a is unlikely to be available due to budget constraints.
  • Locum pharmacist must be available for full-time hours.

Pay Rate:

  • £27 - £32 per hour, depending on experience.
  • PAYE DE payment method.
