Working Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute break)

Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Pharmacist to join a well-established NHS Hospital pharmacy team in Birmingham, working specifically within the Cardiology team. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team and will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients under cardiology care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical pharmacy support to the cardiology wards.
- Reviewing medication prescriptions and offering clinical advice to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conducting medication reviews and liaising with medical staff regarding treatment plans.
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines within the cardiology department.
- Supporting in the development and implementation of medication-related protocols and guidelines.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centred care.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Pharmacist, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous wards experience within a hospital setting, preferably in Cardiology.
- Strong clinical knowledge of cardiology medications and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Availability to start in January.
Additional Information:
- This is a 5-day per week position, Monday to Friday, with standard working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, with a 30-minute break.
