Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist – Renal Wards – Band 7/8a
Location: Essex

Hourly Rate: £27-37 per hour
Contract: 3 months minimum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist with experience in Renal Wards to join a well-established healthcare team in East London/Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients on the renal wards within a busy hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients on renal wards
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Review and dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all clinical guidelines
- Advise on the safe and effective use of medications
- Support renal team in managing patient drug regimens
- Perform clinical checks, counselling, and education for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of medication-related activities
Requirements:
- Hospital Experience is essential
- Recent experience working in renal care or a similar specialty is highly desirable
- Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Experience working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm shifts
