Position: Hospital-Based Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
Location: Worcestershire
Role Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £30 - £37 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated  Pharmacist to join out hospital based client in Worcestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a ward-based role where you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical services across a variety of clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy services to patients across a range of specialties.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient medication regimens.
• Conduct medication reviews, including the screening of prescriptions and the management of patient drug histories.
• Offer expert advice on pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
• Support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.
• Contribute to the delivery of education and training to hospital staff on medication-related matters.
• Participate in audits, quality assurance, and service improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC
• Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in ward-based pharmacy roles.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to apply it in patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
