Hunter Gatherer AHP have a very exciting NHS Hospital based opportunity for a Locum Band 2 Pharmacy Assistant based in Brighton, South Coast, to join the service's Aseptic admininstration team from mid-November 2023 onwards, for a period of 3-6 months!
This is a medium sized NHS run hospital service to be working for, offering the chance for someone with minimal pharmacy experience to be upskilled into a Band 2 Locum role and gain NHS hospital experience!
PLEASE NOTE, this hospital service will consider candidates who DO NOT have any UK Pharmacy experience, but who are overseas qualified Pharmacists/Pharmacy Technicians, looking for their first UK Pharmacy role!!!! 
The role is either full time or part time, on an ongoing basis.
The service are able to bring in a Pharmacy Assistant without prior hospital experience for this role.
The service require a Pharmacy Assistant to cover the following duties: work in the aseptic preparation room – assembly of trays (cytotoxic & monoclonal vials, infusion fluids and equipment), labelling of prepared products, support cleaning of the unit, dispensing of purchased cytotoxic products, admin duties (consisting of worksheet & label preparation, printing of prescriptions etc). There will be numerous other Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians as well as Support Workers in the team to assist where needed. Full training on these duties will be provided to pharmacy professionals who have not worked in a hospital service before! 
The working hours are 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch), Monday - Friday full time (part time MAY be considered for the right applicant). 
The service need a locum Band 2 Pharmacy Assistant to join them ASAP (mid-November 2023) for a period of 3-6 months or more! Please note, only MINIMAL pharmacy experience is required, so those with purely community pharmacy experience will be considered, or applicants with no previous UK Pharmacy experience!! 

– £12.00 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience
– Only minimal pharmacy experience required to be eligible! Hospital training provided!
– Start date: mid-November 2023
- 3-6 months contract - may extend - part time or full time suitable! 
- Based in Brighton 
- Role to assist with the admin duties within the aseptic team
