NHS Locum Band 6/7 Aseptic Pharmacist – Central London

Hunter Gatherer AHP have a niche opportunity based with a NHS hospital in Central London. The Head of Aseptics is recruiting a pharmacist to join the manufacturing team on a full-time locum basis! The main duties of the role are found below:

–       undertaking clinical validation of chemotherapy prescriptions, parenteral nutrition orders & worksheet checks
–       undertaking final check & release of manufactured products
–       dispensing of aseptically prepared clinical trials
–       liaising with clinical trial and pharmacy staff with regards to monitoring and continuing supply of trial medicines to patients

Working hours are 9am-5pm w/ a 30 minute break – 7.5 working hours per day, 37.5 hours per week. For the right candidate, flexible days are acceptable depending on how the CV lands with the department – this is a 3-6 month contract which is likely to extend beyond that.

–       Locum NHS Pharmacist

–       £27-33 per hour depending on experience

–       Ongoing contract with 2 week notice period

–       Flexible leave + indemnity insurance covered
