Job Advertisement: Band 6/7 Pharmacist – Surrey
3-6 Month Contract | Start ASAP | £28-£34 per hour | 3-5 Days per Week

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6/7 Pharmacist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to make an impact in a fast-paced setting while gaining valuable experience in a short-term contract role.

Key Details:

• Position: Band 6/7 Pharmacist
• Contract Type: 3-6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hourly Rate: £28-£34 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Flexible – 3-5 days per week
• Location: Surrey (with some flexibility for remote working)

Main Duties:

• Dispensing and managing medications within a clinical setting
• Providing expert advice and pharmaceutical care to patients and healthcare professionals
• Conducting medication reviews and ensuring safe and effective drug use
• Supporting ward-based services and working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Overseeing stock control, ordering, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Essential Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Experience at Band 6/7 level, or equivalent in hospital/community settings
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and team-working skills
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the contract duration
