Position: Pharmacy Assistant
Location: NHS Hospital, Yorkshire
Contract: Ongoing
Hourly Rate: £14 to £15 per hour

About the Role:
Hunter AHP is currently recruiting for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join a well-established NHS hospital in Yorkshire. This ongoing contract position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive pharmacy team, where you’ll have the chance to contribute to patient care and work within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and supply of medications.
- Help with stock management and inventory control within the pharmacy.
- Support senior pharmacy staff in clinical duties and administrative tasks.
- Ensure medication orders are processed and stored in accordance with NHS procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, ideally within an NHS environment.
- Good understanding of pharmacy procedures and medication management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
