About the Role:

Hunter AHP is currently recruiting for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join a well-established NHS hospital in Yorkshire. This ongoing contract position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive pharmacy team, where you’ll have the chance to contribute to patient care and work within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and supply of medications.
• Help with stock management and inventory control within the pharmacy.
• Support senior pharmacy staff in clinical duties and administrative tasks.
• Ensure medication orders are processed and stored in accordance with NHS procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy records, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent qualification).
• Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, ideally within an NHS environment.
• Good understanding of pharmacy procedures and medication management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
