• Location: Lancashire – GP Surgery based
• Duration: Approx. 3 months
• Schedule: 3 – 4 days per week (flexible), ideally 8:00am–6:00pm with 30-minute break – morning/afternoon sessions may be considered
• Start Date: ASAP, June/July 2025
• Rate of Pay: £19 – £24 per hour DOE and hours worked

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join a Lancashire-based GP surgery as a Locum Pharmacy Technician and support the clinical team in handling incoming hospital letters and medication-related administrative tasks. In this role, you will:
Process and file hospital letters using Docman
Liaise with pharmacists and GPs to action medication queries
Update patient records and medication histories on EMIS
Attend site 1–2 weeks initially (hybrid/remote considered thereafter)
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting
Proficiency using EMIS and Docman
GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
Excellent administrative and communication skills
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
Flexible working offered – approx. 3 days per week, with the possibility of more based on service needs. Contract is for around 3 months, with potential extension.
