Job Title: Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist (Band 8a)
Location: Remote (part of a large NHS Hospital Trust)
Duration: ASAP start – February 2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (30 mins lunch) – 3–5 days per week considered
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: February 2026
Rate of Pay: £33–£37 per hour via Umbrella

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join the Antimicrobial Stewardship team of a large NHS Hospital and support key projects across the Trust. In this role, you will:
carry out oral switches and guideline updates
support governance and desk-based reporting linked to antimicrobial compliance
assist with vaccination programmes over the winter (flu & COVID)
contribute to reports and audits on Antimicrobial Stewardship activity
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
proven Antimicrobial Stewardship experience (essential for remote working)
GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
strong governance, reporting, and audit skills
ability to work independently and remotely
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This position is available 3–5 days per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract runs until February 2026.
