Pharmacy Technician – GP Surgery (Buckinghamshire) via Hunter AHP
Hunter AHP is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a GP surgery in Buckinghamshire.
Location: Buckinghamshire
Working Pattern: 3 days per week (Monday–Friday, flexible days)
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
Pay: £15 – £23 per hour (DOE), paid weekly every Friday
As a GP Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting medicines management and patient care within the practice. Duties include:
Supporting repeat prescription processes and handling medication queries
Conducting medication reviews under the supervision of a pharmacist/GP
Reconciling medicines following hospital discharge/clinic letters
Assisting with prescribing safety audits and medicines optimisation projects
Providing support to the practice team with prescribing systems and protocols
Acting as a point of contact for patients regarding medication queries
Promoting safe, cost-effective prescribing in line with local and national guidance
Qualified and registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
Previous GP surgery/primary care experience desirable (not essential)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Weekly payroll every Friday
