We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice nurse looking to provide high-quality care in a primary care setting. They will welcome applications for both full-time and part-time candidates.
As a Practice Nurse, you will deliver a wide range of nursing services and contribute to the ongoing health and wellbeing of our patients. Duties include (but are not limited to):
Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension reviews)
Cervical cytology (smear tests)
Childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations
Wound care, dressings, and suture removal
Ear care and health promotion advice
ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, and phlebotomy
NHS Health Checks and new patient assessments
Travel health advice and vaccinations
Contraception support and sexual health services
Support with long-term condition monitoring
Working closely with the GP team and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
Registered Nurse (NMC pin required)
Previous experience in a primary care or practice nurse role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong organisational skills and commitment to delivering patient centred care
