Job Title: Physiotherapist
Location: Surrey (A&E and Community-Based)
Service Type: Private Healthcare Provider
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our innovative private healthcare service based in Surrey. This unique role offers the opportunity to work across both Accident & Emergency (A&E) and community settings — supporting patients from initial assessment in the acute phase through to rehabilitation at home.

You will play a vital role in bridging the gap between acute and community care, ensuring patients receive timely, safe, and effective physiotherapy interventions that promote recovery, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete rapid physiotherapy assessments for patients in the A&E department to support timely and appropriate discharge.

  • Identify patients suitable for discharge home with physiotherapy follow-up and provide clinical justification.

  • Continue assessments and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans in the patient’s own home.

  • Prescribe and deliver appropriate exercises, mobility aids, and self-management strategies.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, social workers, and GPs, to ensure a seamless transition of care.

  • Identify risks, implement falls prevention strategies, and promote safety and independence at home.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in line with HCPC and CSP guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy

  • HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council)

  • CSP membership (desirable)

  • Experience working in acute, A&E, or community settings

  • Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload across settings

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential for community visits)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and mileage allowance

  • Flexible working hours and patterns

  • Supportive and collaborative team environment

  • Regular supervision and CPD opportunities

  • The chance to help shape an expanding service at the interface between hospital and home
