Hunter Gatherer AHP are currently recruiting x3 Independent Prescribing Pharmacists with proven weight loss prescribing experience to join a rapidly growing digital healthcare provider. This is a fully remote, long-term opportunity for experienced IPs to support the expansion of an established weight management service.
⚠️ Please note: Weight loss prescribing experience is an absolute requirement for this role.
Role: Independent Prescriber – Weight Loss Services
Start Date: End of February 2026
Contract: Long-term / open-ended
Location: Fully remote (laptop provided and posted to you)
Hours: Full-time required
Flexible working pattern
Typically 7–8 hours per day
Shifts usually between 1:00pm–9:00pm or 2:00pm–10:00pm
Pay: £28–£34 per hour DOE
Payment: Ltd Company or Umbrella
You will be responsible for delivering safe, ethical, and evidence-based weight management services, including:
Prescribing weight loss medications in line with UK clinical guidance
Conducting remote patient consultations
Assessing clinical suitability, safety, and contraindications prior to prescribing
Reviewing medical history, BMI, comorbidities, and treatment eligibility
Ensuring patients are clinically fit to receive medication
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and governance standards
GPhC-registered Pharmacist
Qualified Independent Prescriber (IP)
Essential: Proven experience prescribing weight loss medications
Confident conducting remote consultations
Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and safeguarding
Comfortable working independently within a digital healthcare model
Fully remote role with equipment provided
Long-term, stable contract with a growing digital provider
Flexible working pattern with later start times
Competitive pay of £28–£34 per hour DOE
