Hunter AHP is currently recruiting an experienced Locum IP Pharmacist to work in a GP surgery in Surrey.
This is a flexible opportunity for a confident GP pharmacist looking for consistent locum work with weekly pay.
Key Details:
Location: GP Surgery, Surrey
Role: Locum Independent Prescribing Pharmacist
Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days per week (candidate can choose working days)
Pay Rate: £30 – £34 per hour, dependent on experience
Payment: Weekly pay every Friday
Contract: Ongoing
Essential Requirements:
GPhC registered Pharmacist
Independent Prescriber qualification
Minimum 1 year GP practice experience
Confident using EMIS clinical system
Ideally CPPE pathway completed
Key Duties Include:
Independent prescribing for acute and chronic conditions
Conducting medication reviews (SMRs)
Managing long-term conditions
Supporting medicines optimisation and safety
Handling prescription queries and medication reconciliation
Working closely with GPs and the wider primary care team
