NHS Community Mental Health Team – Manchester
£25–£26 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Locum Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join a well-established NHS Community Mental Health Team in Manchester with an immediate start available.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering recovery-focused interventions to adults in the community.

The Role:

• Manage a defined caseload within the community
• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
• Develop and implement person-centred care plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to promote independence and recovery
• Undertake risk assessments and contribute to risk management plans
• Facilitate group work where appropriate
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Previous mental health experience (community experience desirable)
• Strong assessment and care planning skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Location: Manchester
Rate: £25–£26 per hour
Contract: Locum
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)
