• Job Title: Independent Prescribing Pharmacist (IP Pharmacist)

• Duration: 9–12 months (Mat leave cover)
• Schedule: 3–4 mornings per week remotely + 1 day on site (flexible)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join this GP surgery team as an IP Pharmacist and play a key role in patient care. In this role, you will:
Conduct medication reviews
Manage administrative letters and correspondence
See patients face-to-face for minor illness consultations
Perform asthma reviews and other routine clinical assessments
Work flexibly between remote and on-site sessions
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
GPhC registration with Independent Prescribing qualification
Previous GP surgery experience
Experience with EMIS clinical system
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This hybrid role offers flexible working arrangements: 3–4 mornings remotely (9am–1pm) and 1 full day on site (9am–5pm). The contract is for 9–12 months to cover maternity leave, with some flexibility around scheduling.
