We are currently seeking an experienced First Contact Practitioner (FCP) to join a well-established private GP practice in North West London on a locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician looking for a flexible contract within a high-quality private healthcare setting.

Role Details

• Position: Locum First Contact Practitioner (FCP)
• Location: North West London
• Contract Length: 3–4 months initially
• Start Date: ASAP
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35 available
• Rates: £32–£32 per hour (depending on experience)
• Setting: Private GP Practice

The Role
You will work as the first point of contact for patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and management. The role involves autonomous clinical decision-making, patient education, and appropriate onward referral where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of MSK conditions
• Act as the first point of contact for patients with musculoskeletal presentations
• Develop and deliver appropriate treatment and management plans
• Refer for imaging, specialist services, or secondary care where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Qualified Physiotherapist with HCPC registration
• Completed or working towards FCP/Advanced Practice credentials
• Strong MSK assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Experience working in primary care or GP practice settings preferred
