Job Title: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (Locum)

Location: Near Basingstoke (Community / Home-Based)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to support a male client in his 30s, based at home near Basingstoke. The client presents primarily with expressive communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an initial speech and language assessment
  • Provide therapy sessions (approximately 1–2 times per week)
  • Develop detailed reports and care plans
  • Support and guide the Occupational Therapist (OT) and Rehabilitation Assistant in implementing communication strategies

Contract Details:

  • Minimal hours required

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience working with adults with communication difficulties
  • Ability to work independently in a community setting
