Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist

Are you a Band 6 or 7 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist looking for ad-hoc sessions with mainstream Schools in the Birmingham region? We have an exciting opportunity supporting 12 students with an EHCP for a minimum of 90 minutes per term whilst operating outside of IR35.

• Job Title: Mainstream Schools SaLT (Band 6/7 equivalent)
• Location: Birmingham
• Duration: 30 Hours per term / 90 hours per academic year
• Schedule: Ad-hoc
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: Day Rate – Negotiable Umbrella or LTD

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a SaLT and make a real difference in the lives of pupils in either primary or secondary school depending on service needs, with ASD and / or SEMH in Birmingham by performing comprehensive assessments, creating personalised care plans, delivering evidence-based treatments, completing EHCP assessments, and staying up to date with industry best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Current and valid HCPC registration.
• Experience working within Paediatrics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. 

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requires ad-hoc availability Mon-Fri with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 12 weeks with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
