What You'll Be Doing:

Join an NHS hospital pharmacy team and play a key role in supporting mental health services. In this role, you will:

• provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to mental health wards
• undertake ward visits and work closely with multidisciplinary teams
• clinically screen and review prescriptions
• support medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives
• supervise and support ACT Pharmacy Technicians within the dispensary
• contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services across the trust

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• current GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• substantial NHS hospital pharmacy experience
• previous Mental Health Pharmacy experience (essential)
• strong clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills
• excellent communication and multidisciplinary working abilities
• ability to work independently within a specialist clinical environment

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time applications considered. Working Monday to Friday, the initial contract is for 12 weeks with a strong possibility of extension based on service requirements.
