Hunter Gatherer AHP is currently recruiting for Sonographers to support a growing community diagnostic service in the West Midlands, providing ultrasound services on behalf of the NHS.

There are currently 2 vacancies, with both permanent and locum candidates being considered. Full-time and part-time availability can be accommodated.

Job Details

• Job Title: Sonographer

• Location: West Midlands

• Contract: Locum or Permanent

• Locum Rate: £45–£55 per hour

• Permanent Salary: £43,000–£48,000 per annum

• Days: Monday–Saturday

• Hours: Generally 9am–5pm, with shorter Saturday hours

• Availability: Full-time or part-time considered

Clinical Requirements

We’re looking for experienced Sonographers confident across areas including:

• MSK Ultrasound

• Abdominal Ultrasound

• Pelvic Ultrasound

• Testicular Ultrasound

• Small Parts

• Hernia Scanning

• Independent scanning and reporting

The service currently uses GE and SonoScape ultrasound equipment.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a community diagnostic provider delivering ultrasound services directly to NHS patients across multiple locations in the West Midlands.

The preference is to secure permanent Sonographers, although experienced locums are also very much of interest where permanent availability isn't possible.

There is flexibility around working patterns, with full-time and part-time Sonographers considered.
