Hunter Gatherer AHP is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join an NHS service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT looking for an ongoing locum position, with an ASAP start available.
Job Title: Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist
Location: North West London
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: 8-4pm / 8.30-4.30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Completing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments within a community mental health setting.
Supporting service users with a range of mental health needs to improve their independence and daily functioning.
Developing and implementing individualised intervention and rehabilitation plans.
Supporting recovery, wellbeing and participation in meaningful activities.
Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
Managing a community caseload and contributing to person-centred care planning.
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Previous experience working within a mental health setting.
Experience managing a community caseload and completing OT assessments.
Strong communication, organisational and clinical reasoning skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
