Locum Clinical Pharmacist – NHS Hospital, Liverpool

Location: Liverpool
Contract: Ongoing
Availability: 3/4/5 days per week
Hourly Rate: £28 – £32 per hour

Are you an experienced Clinical Pharmacist looking for a new locum opportunity? Hunter AHP are currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital team in Liverpool. This is an  ongoing contract with flexible working days, offering the chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients in a hospital setting
• Undertake medication reviews and support the multidisciplinary team with drug therapy decisions
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and policies
• Work closely with patients to optimise their medication therapy
• Dispense prescriptions and ensure the safe and accurate supply of medication
• Provide education and guidance on drug usage to hospital staff and patients

Requirements:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• Previous hospital experience is desirable, but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Available to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week
• NHS experience is preferred but not required
