· Job Title: Locum Pharmacist Band 7/8a
· Location: Berkshire, NHS Hospital
· Duration: 6-month contract
· Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm (30 mins lunch), part-time considered
· Start Date: March 2025
· End Date: 6-month contract, potential extension
· Rate of Pay: £24 – £31 per hour via Umbrella, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our NHS clients’ team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients across general, medical, and surgical wards. In this role, you will:

• Provide pharmaceutical services across general, medical, and surgical wards
• Perform medication reviews and ensure safe and effective use of medicines
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
• Dispense and manage prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with NHS policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient medication records

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Prior NHS experience is required
• A current and valid GPhC registration
• Experience working in hospital pharmacy settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position, with availability required from Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (with 30-minute lunch). Part-time options are available. The contract is for 6 months, with a possibility of extension depending on performance and service needs.
