What You’ll Be Doing:

Join the Stroke Rehabilitation Team in South East London and make a difference in patients’ recovery journeys. As a locum Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Provide comprehensive assessments for patients recovering from a stroke.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans focused on rehabilitation, improving independence, and enhancing quality of life.
• Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
• Support patients in regaining their activities of daily living (ADLs), focusing on functional skills and adaptation to any physical limitations.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with stroke patients and in rehabilitation settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• A flexible and proactive approach to patient care.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
• Flexibility to work full-time, with part-time options available for suitable applicants.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role is full-time with the option for part-time hours. The position is available for an immediate start and is ongoing, with a possibility of extension depending on service needs and performance.
