• Job Title: ACT Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6)
• Location: Kent
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, 30 minute break)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate of Pay: £18-£26 per hour (Paid directly via the trust)

A Day in the Life of an ACT Pharmacy Technician:

• Dispensing medications and offering clinical support to patients.
• Accuracy Checking of dispensed medications to ensure they meet all required standards.
• Ensuring accurate medication management in line with relevant protocols.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and providing advice on medication-related concerns.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory pharmacy practices.
• Supporting a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Essential:

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with accredited ACT qualification.
• Experience working in community or hospital pharmacy settings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Accuracy Checking experience (with a valid Accuracy Checking qualification).

• Desirable:

• Experience working within the NHS or similar healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of current pharmacy practices and medication management.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Available immediately. The contract is ongoing with the potential for extension based on performance and service requirements.
