A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist – Oncology:
Join the team as a Pharmacist – Oncology and make a significant difference in the lives of cancer patients. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Verifying and dispensing chemotherapy IV and oral medications.
- Collaborating with oncologists and nursing staff for patient care.
- Ensuring the safe administration of oncology treatments.
- Monitoring and reviewing patients’ medication regimens.
- Offering expert advice on cancer medications and treatment protocols.
- Keeping up-to-date with oncology pharmacy guidelines and best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in Oncology Pharmacy.
- Current and valid GPhC registration (or relevant governing body registration).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a full-time position, with a work schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break. The contract starts in March 2025, with strong potential for extension.
