Locum Prison-Cleared Pharmacy Technician (Band 6)
Are you a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician with prison clearance looking for a rewarding locum role in Devon? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
• Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Band 6)
• Location: Devon
• Duration: 3 months (possibility of extension)
• Schedule: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 7 days per week (occasional shifts until 9:00 PM when required)
• Start Date: March 2025
• End Date: June (with potential extension)
• Rate of Pay: £22 – £26 per hour

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in delivering essential pharmacy services within a secure environment. In this role, you will:
• Work directly on prison wings to support medication administration
• Ensure safe and efficient medication distribution to inmates
• Provide pharmaceutical advice to healthcare staff and patients
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to prison pharmacy regulations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Prison clearance (mandatory)
• Previous experience in a similar role within a prison or secure environment
• A valid GPhC registration
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
This role requires availability 7 days per week from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional later shifts until 9:00 PM when required. The contract is initially for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
