Qualifications, Roles & Responsibilities:

Becoming a radiographer requires a degree in radiography and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Radiographers perform imaging studies, interpret results, and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive diagnostic information.

Radiography Specialisations:

  • General/Plain Film Radiography (Band 5): X-rays, skeletal, muscular

Career Bands and Average Salaries:

  • Band 5
    £18 – £25 per hour umbrella
  • Band 6
