ACT Pharmacy Technician required – North London – Private Hospital

• Job Title: Pharmacy Technician ACT
• Location: Private Hospital, North London
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (30-minute lunch)
• Start Date: March 2025
• End Date: Potential extension based on performance
• Rate of Pay: £17 – £22 per hour (via Umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician ACT and play a key role in improving patient care within a hospital setting. In this role, you will:

• Conduct accuracy checking in an inpatient dispensary
• Support the dispensary team in delivering high-quality pharmacy services
• Ensure compliance with GPhC and hospital standards
• Work alongside pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient safety
• Maintain accurate medication records

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician with ACT qualification
• Community or hospital experience (no prior hospital experience required)
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of pharmacy regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a full-time locum position, requiring availability from Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3-6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
