Role Overview:
In this specialist role, you will:
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s communication needs, considering her complex psychiatric and neurodevelopmental profile.
Identify and outline tailored interventions and support strategies to enhance effective communication.
Provide recommendations for ongoing therapeutic support, with the potential to negotiate additional sessions based on assessment outcomes.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support.
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Current and valid HCPC registration.
Proven experience in assessing and managing communication difficulties in adults with complex needs, including those with ASD and psychiatric disorders.
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.(Your World)
