Join our team as a Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist and play a crucial role in supporting patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will:
Carry out comprehensive assessments for patients with acute medical and respiratory conditions
Develop and implement tailored care plans to support discharge planning and functional recovery
Deliver evidence-based interventions in collaboration with the wider MDT
Contribute to safe, timely patient flow and continuity of care
Maintain accurate, professional clinical documentation
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
A current and valid HCPC registration
Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting, ideally within medical or respiratory wards
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
A proactive and patient-focused approach to care
This flexible locum position requires availability Monday to Friday. The role is ongoing, with strong potential for extension based on service requirements and performance.
