Job Title: Community Neuro Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
Location: Surrey (Borough of Sutton, South West London)
Duration: Ongoing Locum Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time Hours
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing (with strong potential to extend)
Rate of Pay: Competitive, DOE

Join our team as a Community Neuro OT and make a real difference in the lives of adults and older adults with complex neurological conditions. In this role, you will:
Assess and treat patients in community settings including private homes, care homes, and GP practices
Manage patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, head injury, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and other progressive disorders
Deliver high-quality rehabilitation and support for long-term condition management
Plan and carry out community visits across the Sutton borough
Work as part of an MDT, collaborating with GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid HCPC registration
Strong experience working with neurological conditions
Previous community rehab experience
Experience working with both adults and older adults
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently across community settings
Desirable:
A car and valid UK driving licence
Experience using EMIS
NHS Smartcard access
This is a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday. The role requires flexibility and the ability to carry out a set number of visits across the borough. The contract is ongoing with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
