What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as an Community Physiotherapist specializes in working with individuals who have neurological conditions, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

You will  work in community settings (e.g., patients’ homes, outpatient clinics, community centers) to help individuals manage their condition, improve mobility, and enhance their quality of life.

Here’s a breakdown of the key roles and responsibilities of a community neuro physiotherapist:

1. Assessment of Neurological Function

2. Developing Tailored Rehabilitation Plans

3. Therapeutic Exercise and Rehabilitation

4. Balance and Posture Improvement

5. Spasticity and Pain Management

6. Assistive Technology and Equipment

7. Encouraging Functional Independence

8. Education and Support

9. Psychosocial Support

10. Home Visits and Community Integration

11. Prevention and Health Promotion

12. Collaboration with Healthcare Team

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a current and valid HCPC registration
  • experience working in a community neuro rehabilitation team.
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care 

 

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday-Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3-6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
