Join our team as a Band 6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist and play a key role in supporting patients on an inpatient mental health unit. In this role, you will:
Perform comprehensive assessments to support discharge planning
Provide assessments and provision of equipment
Deliver group and 1:1 therapeutic interventions
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT)
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and care plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid HCPC registration
Experience working in mental health, preferably in inpatient settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
