Band 6 Physiotherapist – Inpatient Neuro Rehab (Acute Sciences)

We are working with an NHS service seeking an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their inpatient Neuro Rehabilitation team within an acute sciences setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician with strong stroke experience who can hit the ground running.

The Role

You will be working within an acute inpatient neuro rehab unit, managing a complex caseload of patients with neurological conditions, with a strong focus on stroke rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a specialist neuro caseload within an acute inpatient setting
• Delivering comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for stroke and other neurological conditions
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Supporting safe discharge planning
• Supervising junior staff and students where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered Physiotherapist
• Previous NHS experience (essential)
• Recent experience at Band 6 level (or equivalent)
• Strong stroke rehabilitation experience (essential)
• Experience within inpatient neuro/acute settings
• Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload

Additional Information

• £28–£30 per hour (depending on experience)
• Start ASAP
• Full-time preferred
