Band 6 Inpatient Rehabilitation Physiotherapist
We are currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a busy inpatient rehabilitation service on an ongoing contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, helping patients progress safely through rehabilitation and discharge.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy care to patients on inpatient or reablement wards, with a strong focus on rehabilitation, discharge planning, and patient flow.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking timely physiotherapy assessments on inpatient or reablement wards
• Determining discharge readiness and required physiotherapeutic interventions
• Parallel planning to support effective and timely discharge
• Developing and monitoring individualised exercise and rehabilitation programmes
• Liaising with hospital, community, and wider multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Supporting timely patient flow and discharge

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Band 6 physiotherapy experience
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong communication and MDT working skills
