What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and play a key role in improving the lives of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN). Based within an SEN school, you will:
• Perform comprehensive assessments for children with varied needs
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support participation and independence
• Deliver evidence-based interventions in both 1:1 and group settings
• Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and multidisciplinary professionals
• Support EHCP processes and contribute to annual reviews
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A current and valid HCPC registration
• Proven experience in paediatric occupational therapy (preferably within an SEN or school setting)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to providing child-centred, high-quality care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a flexible role, open to both full time and part time applicants. Working hours can be adapted to suit your availability. The position is ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and school needs.
